About Major Minor & Services

The "Major" is longtime Kansas, Oklahoma & Texas broadcaster Bryce Matteson who has worked on the talent side of the microphone and camera for a total of 25 years and counting. Bryce currently appears on KWCH-TV 12's "Eye On Your Money" where he served as the station's Aviation & Business reporter from 1990 through 1998. Prior to that, Bryce's smooth voice could be heard in the Wichita market on KNSS 1330 AM, KEYN 103.7 FM & KFDI 101.3 FM. The Major has tons of live "on-air" microphone and camera experience so you can bet he'll look good and sound even better serving as host and Master of Ceremonies at your wedding reception, corporate event or birthday party!

The Major's "Tune Platoon" is South Kansas' newest compilation of digital sound and lights all brought together in one trailer of fun. Sound is powered by Peavey and your dance floor will be cascaded by colorful strobes, flashing floods and a magical mirror ball. We play all types of music and if for some reason we don't already have your special song, we'll get it just for you! We meet and plan before the event to make sure we get everything right -- no additional charge.

We believe that your reception or party can be loads of fun for everyone without breaking the bank or going over budget. Find a comparable service with a better price and we promise to meet or beat it. We want to earn your business!
The Major and his crew operate a Christian business and don't and won't play explicit versions of music. We like to keep it clean for everyone to have a good time!

While wedding receptions are our specialty, we entertain at corporate events, school dances, proms, birthday parties, pool parties, reunions and any other type of gathering you can think of. Pre-event consultations are included in our services at no additional charge. Inside or out, we're there with a smile reporting for duty!
